The Prem Mom Tribe will be hosting a first of its kind, fun walk in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
Who is the Prem Mom’s Tribe?
An online support structure founded on 17 November 2019 with few mothers here in Gauteng. Their immense contribution through sharing their preemie journey has helped us reach many NICU families in our country. We support each other on this wonderful journey, constantly raise awareness by sharing our preemies journey with the hope of comforting new NICU families
What is NICU?
Neo Natal Intensive Care Unit, a unit found in the maternity ward. One would say a secluded unit where babies born premature stay after delivery. Sometimes even full term babies find themselves in the ward due to different complications at birth.
Fun Walk
We are hosting a fun walk on 12 November 2022. We will be raising awareness about premature birth. A journey were only few people openly talk about. We aim to educate different communities, to join and help us support as many preemie families as possible.

We are all meeting at Constitution Hill (The Square) in Braamfontein. The venue has a secure parking space for everyone.
Kiddies corner
Play Africa will be joining us on the day. They are a children’s museum based at Constitution Hill. They are going to help us entertain the children before the walk could start and after the walk until midday
